RAWALPINDI :The campaign to expel illegally residing foreign nationals is intensifying across Punjab. So far, a total of 10,078 illegal residents have been deported from the province.
During the operation, more than 10,738 undocumented foreign nationals were shifted to holding centers, while 660 are already present at designated points.
To facilitate this process, 46 holding centers have been established across the province.
In coordination with relevant departments, these individuals are being moved from specific locations and transported out of Punjab’s borders.
Illegal residents are being identified through Special Branch, CTD, security agencies, and intelligence-based information.
All undocumented foreign nationals will be deported without exception.
Just like other countries, Pakistan is implementing its deportation policy in line with international laws and protocols, said IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar.
